1. Eligibility & accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@chakri.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.
Chakri is designed for career, hiring, and freelance use. If you are under 18, you may only use features available to your age/education track where permitted, and you should involve a parent or guardian where required by law. We may refuse, limit, or terminate accounts that appear fraudulent, abusive, or ineligible.
Public signup may be waitlist-gated from time to time. Completing a waitlist does not guarantee access or any specific plan entitlement.
2. The Services
Chakri provides an agentic AI recruitment and career platform for emerging markets, starting in Bangladesh. Features may include (without limitation): job and talent discovery, AI profile matching, CV parsing and generation, recruiter screening tools, AI interviews and prep, messaging, marketplace listings and applications, credits/coins, Pro plans, referrals, and linked experiences such as Learning Chat or AI Interview when available.
Features may change, be beta, region-limited, or unavailable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
3. Seekers, recruiters & freelancers
3.1 Job seekers
You may build profiles, upload CVs, apply to roles (including assisted or auto-apply flows where enabled), take assessments or interviews, and use career tools. You represent that materials you submit are accurate and that you have the right to share them.
3.2 Recruiters & employers
You may post opportunities, review candidates, run AI screening or interviews, and manage hiring workflows. You are solely responsible for your hiring decisions, job postings, and compliance with employment and data-protection laws applicable to your organization. Chakri is a technology platform — not your employer, recruiter of record (unless separately agreed in writing), or law firm.
3.3 Freelancers & clients
Marketplace and freelance features may let you list services, apply to projects/tasks, negotiate scope, and manage milestones. You are responsible for your own contracts, taxes, deliverables, and local legal obligations between parties.
4. AI features & disclaimers
AI features are assistive. Outputs (scores, rankings, tailored CVs, interview feedback, agent suggestions, generated content) may be incomplete, biased, or incorrect. You must review AI-assisted actions before relying on them — especially auto-apply, outbound messages, job posts, or hiring decisions.
Chakri does not guarantee interviews, job offers, candidate quality, payment success, or any particular marketplace outcome. You remain responsible for how you use AI tools and for any content sent on your behalf when you authorize agentic workflows.
5. Marketplace & engagements
Where opportunities include NDA, IP transfer, milestones, or budget terms, those flags and messages are tools to help parties coordinate. Unless we expressly state otherwise in a written product feature (for example a formal escrow release mechanism when enabled), Chakri is not a party to the contract between seeker/freelancer and client/recruiter, and is not responsible for non-payment, non-delivery, or disputes between users.
We may offer mediation-style AI assistants or status tools; these do not create a binding arbitration service or legal representation.
6. Credits, Pro & payments
- Credits / coins. Chakri may issue or sell credits (including silver and gold balances) used for AI actions, applications, or other metered features. Credits have no cash value except where a specific withdrawal or redemption feature is expressly offered.
- Purchases. Prices may be shown in BDT or other currencies. Taxes, FX, and gateway fees may apply. Payment methods (e.g. bKash or other processors) depend on what we enable in your region.
- Withdrawals. If gold or other balances become withdrawable, you must provide accurate payout details. We may review, delay, or reject withdrawals for fraud, abuse, error, or legal risk.
- Chakri Pro & paid tools. Subscriptions and one-time purchases (including Builder or packs) are subject to the plan description at checkout. Unless required by law, fees are generally non-refundable once digital access or credits are delivered.
- Changes. We may change pricing, credit costs, or pack contents prospectively. We are not responsible for payment-provider outages.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, discriminatory, or unlawful job ads or profiles
- Upload malware, scrape the Services without permission, or bypass rate limits/security
- Impersonate others, fabricate credentials, or submit verification documents you do not own
- Harass users, spam, or misuse messaging and AI agents
- Interfere with interviews/proctoring integrity or attempt to game ranking systems unfairly
- Use Chakri to violate export, employment, privacy, IP, or anti-fraud laws
- Resell access, reverse engineer, or use the Services to build a competing dataset by unauthorized means
We may investigate violations and take action including content removal, credit forfeiture, feature limits, or account bans.
8. Your content & license
You retain ownership of content you submit (profiles, CVs, messages, job posts, listings, etc.). You grant Chakri a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, display, transmit, and create derivative technical outputs (such as parses, embeddings, scores, and tailored drafts) as needed to operate and improve the Services.
You represent that your content does not infringe others' rights and that you have obtained any consents required to share candidate or employee data if you are a recruiter.
9. Chakri intellectual property
Chakri branding, software, UI, models configurations, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited right to use the Services under these Terms, no IP rights are transferred to you.
10. Suspension & termination
You may stop using Chakri at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk, fail verification, or if we discontinue a feature or the Services. Sections that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive termination.
11. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Chakri and its operators, affiliates, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, hiring outcomes, or business interruption, arising from your use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to Chakri for the Services in the three (3) months before the claim, or (b) BDT 5,000.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Services, unless mandatory consumer protections in your locality require otherwise.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be notified by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
