Vacancy details: We are opening one opening for a Software Engineer in the Civil Engineering team, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh (remote). This is a part-time junior role for someone who can take ownership from day one and deliver alongside the existing team. Day to day, the work centres on Java, DSA. Success in the first few months means shipping consistently, working well with colleagues across the business, and raising the quality bar for the work you own.
Job description: About the Role We are our company, and we are looking for a Software Engineer based in Dhaka, Bangladesh to join our team.
What You Will Do • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable applications • Write clean, tested, and well-documented code • Collaborate with product, design, and QA to ship features end-to-end • Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering best practices • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
What We Are Looking For • Proven experience in a similar role • Strong problem-solving and communication skills • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience • Solid understanding of version control (Git)
Nice to Have • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines • Open-source contributions or portfolio projects
